Abstracts and Posters

Standard abstract submissions are now CLOSED.

Abstract submission for e-ECE 2021 is now closed. We thank the submitters and authors for their contributions.

All abstracts are now under review and will be evaluated by independent reviewers. The Programme Committee will meet shortly to make the final decision on abstract acceptance/rejection. Notification regarding abstract acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the submitting author in March 2021.

How will my abstract be presented?

  • All accepted abstracts will be published in Endocrine Abstracts  - a fully citable open access record of the Congress.
  • All ePosters (some with accompanying audio) and Oral Communications presented at e-ECE 2021 will be fully accessible on ESE's online platform: ESE On Demand. During the live event, attendees can contact authors directly via the ‘contact the author’ function to discuss and collaborate.
  • Top-scoring authors will have the opportunity to present their work during an Oral Communication or ePoster session with live Q&A!

At least one author must register in full to attend e-ECE 2021 and to present their work at the virtual event. Any author failing to present an accepted abstract at e-ECE 2021 will be automatically excluded from submitting any future abstracts.

If you no longer want your abstract to be considered please contact the e-ECE event team at ece2021@endocrinology.org with the subject title: ‘e-ECE 2021 Abstract Withdrawal’ before Monday 22 March (23:59 CET).

We will contact all submitting authors directly in the coming weeks with further information.

ESE offers 150 Basic Science Meeting Grants and 150 Meeting Grants to ESE members which can be used towards the cost of attending the Congress.

In addition, Journal of Endocrinology are offering grants to ten young scientists who have an accepted abstract to attend e-ECE 2021 and there will be 100 grants available to Nurses who are ESE members. Find out how to apply for a grant.
