Self-care and Wellbeing Advice

To help get you ready for four stimulating days of ECE 2022, we have put together the following self-care and wellbeing tips.

For in-person attendees:

We encourage you to walk where possible in Milan and attend ECE 2022 rather than take a taxi, particularly if your hotel is nearby. This not only helps your wellbeing but the environment too!

  Run
Take a run before you start your day at the Congress! View the popular running routes in Milan.
A few of our favourite routes are listed on STRAVA and the popular Parco Sempione a central scenic route! Take a look at the running route around the Congress centre.
  Meditation
Start your day with a 10-minute meditation session, as it helps clear your mind and focus on the present moment – which gives you a huge productivity boost.
  Hydration
Stay hydrated throughout the day to help sharpen your concentration and increase energy levels. Remember to bring your reusable water bottle to refill at our water stations which are available throughout the venue.
  Yoga
Take 25 minutes to relax the mind and centre your attention with our yoga video.
  Regular breaks
There are regular intervals throughout the ECE programme allowing you and your colleagues to have a break and network. We encourage taking a step out of the venue once a day for 5 minutes of fresh air.

For ECE@Home attendees:

  Meditation

  Yoga

  Take tech-free breaks
Take frequent screen breaks, at least one 10-minute break every hour. Stepping away from technology not only gives your brain a break but also gives you the added bonus of perspective.
