Our annual Honorary Membership is awarded to those persons of special distinction in endocrinology or those who have performed outstanding long-term service to the Society.

2023 - Andrea Giustina

In recognition of his outstanding service to ESE through his role as ​ESE President (2019-2021) and the major roles he played in steering ESE through the pandemic and European policy and advocacy

2023 - Susan Webb

In recognition to her services to endocrinology and for her major involvement in the pituitary field, particularly quality of life.

2022 - Barbara Jarząb

In recognition of her longstanding support to the European Society of Endocrinology, including as ESE Secretary from​ 2010-2014 and to the European endocrine community at large.

2022 - Clara Álvarez

In recognition of her longstanding support to the European Society​ of Endocrinology, including as ESE Executive Committee member from 2005-2009, as Thyroid Focus Area lead from 2018-2020 and to the European endocrine community at large.
