Emphasis on Education
Our educational activities are core to our membership benefits, and Corporate Membership provides companies with the opportunity to support and engage with these to help us advance endocrine care and knowledge. Our core education fund enables companies to sponsor general endocrine education, primarily aimed at our early career and basic science audiences. Support to this fund allows us to deliver our Postgraduate Courses, Summer School, EYES Annual Meeting and other courses that cover a range of endocrine conditions and topics.
Focus Area-specific events and activities, such as Clinical Update webinars, are designed to provide the latest information and education to clinicians, supporting the ongoing improvement of endocrine care.
A Focus on Patients
The Hypoparathyroidism Patient Forums continue to be a popular addition to our calendar, allowing us to bring clinicians and patients, their families and carers together to answer questions about this rare disease. A further Hypoparathyroidism Patient Forum is planned for 2024.
Expanding on this successful format, planning for the first Adrenal Patient Forum is underway and this will take place in 2024.
Contact Natalie Dass to find out more about how ESE works with Patients and Patient Groups, and how you can help us to support these communities.
Addressing Unmet Medical Needs
ESE is committed to identifying and addressing unmet medical needs in endocrine care and in particular in rare endocrine diseases. Our Focus Area experts work closely with our members and partners to establish ways in which we can do this. A number of bespoke programmes are in development or already underway.
Contact Natalie Dass to find out more about our bespoke programmes or if you wish to discuss an area of unmet need.
