Impact Factors for ESE journals announced

Following the release of the 2019 Journal Citation Reports (Web of Science Group, 2020), the latest impact factor results for both the official journal of the European Society of Endocrinology, as well as the journals the society endorses, are now available.

The European Journal of Endocrinology (EJE) has received a record-breaking impact factor for the fourth year in a row, with an impact factor of 5.308. It now ranks 22nd out of 143 in Endocrinology & Metabolism, while Endocrine Connections has also increased its score to 2.592 (ranking 96 out 143 in the same category).

The Journal of Endocrinology now stands at 4.041, while the Journal of Molecular Endocrinology received a 2019 score of 3.562 with the journal’s 5-year Impact Factor has increased to 3.672. Endocrine-Related Cancer has increased to 4.800 and is now ranked 25 out of 143 in the Endocrinology & Metabolism category and 70 out of 244 in the Oncology category.

To celebrate the new journals impact factors, each of the Editorial Boards have put together collections containing a selection of the most the highly cited articles that have contributed to the latest results:
