2018: 1st Expert Workshop on Parathyroid Disorders

The 1st Expert Workshop on Parathyroid Disorders was held from 6 to 7 September 2018 in Sanpoort, The Netherlands. This workshop brought together 30 key leaders and experts from the parathyroid field including endocrinologists, surgeons, pathologists and researchers.

With a programme focussing on parathyroid cancers, primary hyperparathyroidism and hypoparathyroidism, the meeting aimed to identify the challenges faced during the diagnosis and management of patients with these conditions.

The workshop outcomes, generated through interactive discussion sessions, will inform the development of future activities aimed at addressing these challenges and improving patient outcomes across Europe and beyond.

A report, summarising the workshop, was recently sent to relevant stakeholders. If you have yet to receive, or read the report, a copy of it is available to download here
