ESE calls on European Parliament to address impact of EDCs on hormone health
In an article in Nature Reviews, ESE shares it is prioritising Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) as one of four key policy areas amid concerns about their effect on endocrine health, particularly thyroid and gonadal function. According to the European Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, approximately 70,000 chemicals on the market have not been tested for their impact on human health. ESE aims to minimise human exposure to EDCs and stimulate EU funding for research. |
