Pheo Para Awareness Week
Visit the Pheo Para Alliance website for more information
The Pheo Para Awareness Week was launched in 2020 by the Pheo Para Alliance.
The aim of this week is to raise awareness for pheochromocytoma (pheo) and paraganglioma (para) which are classified as rare neuroendocrine tumours that come from the same tissue. Signs and symptoms of pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma include high blood pressure and headache.
This year the Pheo Para Awareness Week (26-30 August 2024) will focus on what the future might look like for those affected by pheo para.
