Join our award-winning marketing team and develop your digital communication skills in science and policy fields:

The Digital Content and Engagement (Marketing) Executive will help our current small marketing team to further increase ESE’s digital presence and engagement with members and other key stakeholders by using data to inform and develop content for our target audiences.

As a key part of our in-house marketing team, this new role will support the effective delivery of our marketing and communications plans across membership, events, policy and advocacy, and publications.

If you have a passion for good communication, a flair for design and an interest in science or policy communications this role could fit you well, especially if you like digital marketing channels and content and feel confident in diving into tools and systems to learn and grow.

You’ll thrive in a busy, varied environment and have a flexible ‘can-do’ approach and be happy to work from home (unless based near Bristol) as part of our marketing team which is based across the UK.

You will be working in and contributing to a highly successful not for profit organisation, with strong vision, ambition and a fantastic culture and leadership team.A company pension scheme is available. Medical cash-back plan and rewards scheme, 25 days holiday per year, raising one day each completed year to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rata for part-time employees).

Contract Type: Permanent and part-time (3 days/21 hours per week).

The Senior Marketing Executive is a key part of our in-house marketing team and will be involved in the planning, co-ordination and delivery of our marketing and communications plans across membership, events, policy and advocacy and publications.

If you have experience as a science communicator or in a marketing or coms role ion a membership organisation or association, this role could fit you well, especially if you have worked for a life sciences or medical organisation.

You will be an excellent communicator across on and offline channels, write strong copy, have a flair for design and be skilled in building impactful emails and newsletters.

You’ll thrive in a busy, varied environment and have a flexible ‘can-do’ approach and be happy to work from home (unless based near Bristol) as part of our marketing team which is based across the UK.
