We are committed to operating in a way which protects people from discrimination and makes every effort to promote equality of opportunity in all areas of our activities.
We encourage all members to nominate either themselves, or a colleague, to join one of our Committees through our open call for committee membership when positions become available. There are some Committees where an open call is not appropriate, due to specific requirements of the Committee.
All nominations received will be considered and, if there are more nominations than positions available, the respective Committee will hold a vote. All nominees will be notified of the results.
For Executive Committee positions, there is a separate call for nominations, usually in November each year. The membership then vote for their preferred candidates and the results are announced at the Annual General Meeting.
