Yes, you can still join. If you are not a member of a relevant organisation, you can self-certify that you are actively engaged/training in the field of endocrinology or a related subject. You will be asked to provide evidence on your application form that you are actively engaged in the field of endocrinology or a related subject e.g. a list of up to a maximum of four of your publications or a statement not exceeding 100 words.
Yes. Lapsed Members up to two years can apply to re-join and make payment, register your interest at My ESE.

Yes, we currently offer a reduced membership fee to eligible students and early career professionals. Please check the eligibility criteria for these career stages here to see if you are eligible. You will be asked to provide your dates of eligibility, and the name/email of your head of department/superior or tutor when you complete the application form.

If you wish to take out a print subscription to The European Journal of Endocrinology, at the reduced rate for members only, please contact us It is available as an option to purchase your annual subscription at sign up or renewal of your membership.
The subscription cost for the printed version of European Journal of Endocrinology is €250 for 2026, for Members of ESE. Members of ESE have free online access included in membership.

It can take a few days for new and renewed memberships to update on our ECE registration system. Please allow a few days after applying for ESE Membership before registering for the event, to ensure that the membership data on our systems have updated.
Membership renewals for 2026 open on 01 October 2025. When the time comes to renew your membership, you will be sent an email with letting you know it is time to log into My ESE and Renew your membership.
Please ensure your contact details are up to date by logging in to My ESE and checking your details in My Profile.

The subscription year runs from 1 January to 31 December each year, and payment is due on application. Membership renewals are due by 1 January each year, regardless of when you joined the Society.
However, if you join between 1 October and 31 December in any year, your membership expires on the 31st of December the following year and your benefits begin immediately.

Please complete the membership application form with your details and follow the instructions on the page. We will then run the required checks and contact you regarding the outcome of your application. Please be aware that this may take some time to complete this process.
If you’re taking a career break or you are on maternity leave, you can rest assured that your membership can be reactivated at any time within two years so you can simply re-join when you are ready rather than re-applying.
