ESE was extremely proud to recently sign an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Endocrine Society (KES) at their 2023 SICEM meeting in Seoul. This was signed at a ceremony by Jérôme Bertherat and the Yoon-Sok Chung, the KES President. The MOU demonstrates our great collaboration particularly in the area of scientific and educational activities, and enhances the excellent communication between the two organisations.
In addition, at the 2023 SICEM meeting there was an excellent session joint session of the two organisations on ‘Conquering rare parathyroid diseases through consortiums of collective intelligence’ – with wonderful speakers and discussion.
Further activities are planned in 2024, with a joint session between KES, ESE and the Endocrine Society at SICEM 2024 (11-14 April 2024) in Seoul on the topic of Pheo/paraganglioma, and at ECE 2024 (11-14 May) in Stockholm on mild autonomous cortisol secretion.
