We are delighted to announce Professor S. Faisal Ahmed will be joining the Editorial Board of Endocrine Connections as the new Editor-in-Chief on 1st January 2024.
Professor Ahmed is a consultant at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Yorkhill, Glasgow and holds the Samson Gemmell Chair of Child Health at the University of Glasgow.
His current research focuses on improving the care of people with rare endocrine conditions by developing strong interdisciplinary and international partnerships and infrastructures that facilitate global translational research with a clear impact on healthcare.
Professor Ahmed will take over from the current Editor-in-Chief, Professor Adrian Clark. ESE would like to thank Professor Clark for everything he has done in his inspirational leadership of the journal!
