Experience at EuroPit 2025 and Dieter K. Lüdecke Prize winner

Olga Papalou (Greece)

Participating in EuroPit 2025 was an absolutely transformative experience, both professionally and personally. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in a welcoming atmosphere and an inspiring environment of intense learning. The course brought together a fantastic group of dedicated doctors and researchers with a shared passion for pituitary disorders and high-quality patient care.

The course format is uniquely powerful and one of its highlights lies in the connections. It was especially valuable for me to meet and connect with so many talented young colleagues from across Europe with whom I know I will collaborate and share advice for years to come. The faculty were remarkably approachable, offering guidance not just on cases, but on career development and research.

Furthermore, presenting my case was a challenging yet immensely rewarding opportunity. The discussion that followed was rigorous, insightful, and pushed me to consider new perspectives in diagnosis and management. To then receive the Best Case Presentation Award and the Dieter K. Lüdecke Prize was a profound honour that I will never forget.

EuroPit is more than a congress; it is a catalyst for growth. It sharpens your clinical reasoning, expands your perspective through exposure to diverse practices, and forges a genuine sense of community. I returned home feeling not only grateful for this opportunity but also truly inspired. Organisers and faculty members deserve great praise for putting together an outstanding event, and I would highly recommend EuroPit to anyone passionate about pituitary disorders.
