The 1st International Conference: Disease Prevention by Reducing Exposure to Harmful Chemicals will take place on 10 June 2025 in Warsaw, at the Novotel Warszawa Centrum hotel, from 09:00 to 17:00 local time.
Harmful chemicals are present in our environment – in the air, water, soil, food and in everyday products. Their impact on public health is becoming more and more worrying – as many as 84% of Poles are concerned about the health consequences resulting from exposure to chemical substances. Scientific evidence shows a link between exposure to toxic substances and serious diseases such as reproductive diseases, cancer, diabetes and obesity. Despite the growing number of studies and expert recommendations, the current regulations still need to be strengthened. This conference aims to discuss this challenge and develop joint recommendations that will allow for more effective protection of public health.
