The 6th European Workshop on AMPK will be held on 29 September – 2 October 2024, in Lyon, France.
The 6th European Workshop on AMPK and Related Kinases is the next installment of a successful biennial series, initiated in 2013. The conference aims at bringing together leading experts and emerging scientists specialized in the role and regulation of the metabolic sensor AMPK. This encompasses both upstream regulators and downstream effectors of AMPK, as well as other kinases of the superfamily of AMPK-related kinases, as identified through studies conducted in various models.
The scientific program will explore cutting-edge aspects of AMPK biology through nine original sessions. The program will focus on original and novel questions regarding AMPK, its roles in health and disease, and its potential as a drug target.
