The 5th International Conference on Gonadotropins and Receptors (ICGR-V) will be held on 12 – 15 March 2024, in Tours, France.
Gonadotropins and their receptors are master regulators of development and reproduction. Together with other glycoprotein hormones, such as kisspeptin and GnRH, they trigger multiple signaling cascades and intracellular events recently depicted using novel technological and scientific tools. The knowledge in the field advanced significantly in the last decade, where the classic view of the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis has been expanded with the addition of novel signaling cascades, potential partner proteins and target tissues. These new findings provided new potential therapeutic applications for reproductive purpose and cancer treatment.
This 4-day meeting encloses sessions dedicated to neuroendocrine control of the HPG axis, endocrine disruption of the gonadotropins signaling, genetic regulation of gametogenesis, infertility, ovarian stimulation, among others.
