The Society for Endocrinology and the Irish Endocrine Society are proud to announce the first-ever Joint Irish-UK Endocrine Meeting, which will take place at the ICC Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 14-15 October 2024.
This special collaboration brings together the brightest minds from the UK and Ireland for a meeting dedicated to advancing endocrinology.
Some session highlights from this year's scientific programme include the opening keynote exploring the management of adrenal insufficiency from Eystein Husebye, sessions on using AI, the Endocrinology Plenary from Bente Langdahl and case reports from submitted abstracts. Stephen O'Rahilly who is presenting his keynote 'Island Hopping: Adventures in Hormones, Metabolism and Behaviour' on 15 October from 3:30 - 3:55pm spoke of his excitement at the upcoming event, “I am thrilled to speak at this event. Belfast is a great venue and the basic and clinical science will be terrific".
