The European Society of Endocrinology supports basic scientists by providing courses, resources and opportunities for both early-career and established scientists.

The ESE Clinical Update is an international residential event providing essential training for all trainees and an update for established endocrinologists. The event is designed not only to give a rigorous update on current clinical practice but also to encourage networking between trainees and established endocrinologists.

The ESE Postgraduate Training Courses in Clinical Endocrinology are aimed at specialists in endocrinology including those in training. The courses consist of the latest presentations on the more relevant aspects of clinical endocrinology and areas that have undergone the most recent changes. The emphasis is on clinical endocrinology however lectures on relevant basic research, and on molecular endocrinology, are also presented. The ESE Themed Courses and Workshops cater for specialists in various fields of endocrinology, including those in training. The courses cover the latest relevant aspects of clinical practice, and clinical and basic research in a specific area of endocrinology.
