European Hormone Day (now World Hormone Day!)
After three successful years of European Hormone Day (2022-2024), the endocrine community marked the first World Hormone Day in 2025. The campaign is now global, raising awareness of the importance of good hormone health around the world.
The next World Hormone Day takes place on 24 April 2026. More information on how to take part will be available soon.

This page provides the story of European Hormone Day to show how the campaign has evolved since 2022.
Hormones play a major role in many prevalent chronic diseases (such as cancer and diabetes) and over 400 rare diseases, which affect millions of people in Europe.
While we need policymakers to lay the groundwork for better prevention, diagnosis and treatment, there are steps we can all take to improve our hormone health. This was the focus for European Hormone Day in 2022-24.
