Obituary for Jette Kristensen (1947-2025) - A great patient advocate has left us
We were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Jette Kristensen on Saturday 20 December 2025. Jette recently stepped down as President of Addison Foreningen Danmark (the Danish Addison's Disease Association) after nearly 20 years, and was a member of ESE's Affiliated Patient Advocacy Group Board since its inception in 2021.
Jette always brought enthusiasm, insight and dedication to her interactions with ESE. She was a speaker at the first Adrenal Patient Forum in 2024 and contributed to numerous other ESE activities and initiatives, ensuring that the voice and needs of patients were always at their heart.
Beyond her tireless energy as a patient advocate, Jette was known as an enthusiastic, generous and compassionate person. She will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with her family, friends and all who knew her.
