ESE Examination Grant

*Applications for the ESE Examination Grant 2024 are now closed*

ESE provides a limited number of grants to cover 50% of the cost of taking the European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

These grants are available to ESE members who

      • are Early Career or Student member of ESE or a full ESE Member with a low or middle income country Membership rate as classified by the World Bank. The full list of membership categories and fees can be found here.

The grant amount is €375 (50% of the registration fee). Applicants will be notified if their application has been successful or not as soon as possible after applications close and have been reviewed. The Treasurer’s decision is final. 

Applications closed on 19 August 2024.

Payment

Payment of the grant is made by reduction of the exam registration fee that is required to be paid. Following award of the grant, the applicant will receive a unique link to pay for the examination at a reduced rate. There will be no financial transfer of money between ESE and the applicant.

Please note: We are unable to provide grants to individuals or institutions currently under sanction according to the consolidated list of financial sanctions targets in the UK, as listed here.

Applications are verified to ensure this is not the case before a grant is awarded. ESE does not permit sanctioned individuals or individuals from sanctioned institutions to attend any ESE events.
