ESE European Lectures
Application deadline: 25 June 2026, for lectures taking place in 2027.
Online application form is available below.
Hosting an "ESE European Lecture" gives National Partner Societies an opportunity to invite a key ESE speaker to their national meeting. The aim is to strengthen connections, collaboration and knowledge-sharing between ESE and the National Partner Societies.
How it works:
- A speaker will attend your national meeting, present a lecture and provide a brief overview of ESE's work
- Speakers are chosen in collaboration with the National Societies, the ESE President and the ESE Executive Committee
- National Societies are expected to fund the speaker's accommodation and subsistence costs
- ESE may consider funding the speaker's travel costs related to the European Lecture, depending on budget restrictions
Application Information
- Please submit this online application form
- Your application will be reviewed by the ESE President and, and if necessary with the ESE Executive Committee
- The decision will be based upon financial availability and recent support to the applicant society, ensuring fairness for all National Partner Societies.
Speaker criteria:
- Speaker is a current member of ESE and has been a member for at least one year.
- Speaker is either currently working or recently involved in an ESE Committee, Focus Area, or a working/steering group, or recommended by a member of these. This criterion can be waived at the discretion of ESE President and/or ESE Officers.
- Speaker is an internationally acknowledged expert in a defined endocrine field.
- Please read the ESE Equality, Diversion and Inclusion Policy, and include these principles at the event where possible.
- Affiliation: All National Partner Societies can promote their affiliation to ESE on their website and other channels (including for annual national meetings) using our ESE Affiliated Society logo (please contact ecas@ese-hormones.org if you would like the logo set).
- Endorsement: We have recently updated our event endorsement policy. Please read the new criteria before applying.
