A Certificate of Attendance will be available for all delegates attending the ECE 2027 Congress.
CME accreditation for ECE 2027 will be applied for with the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Further information regarding the number of European CME credits (ECMEC®s) available for the Pre-Congress programme and the Main Congress will be published once accreditation has been confirmed.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that they have actually spent participating in the educational activity.
Please note that, in order to receive CME credits, participants may be required to have their attendance recorded for each eligible session.
Please ensure you scan yourself into each session room before entering, as this is essential to record your attendance and validate your credits.
Online participants must complete the survey after each session to confirm their attendance and validate their credits.
Following the Congress, all attendees will receive an evaluation form by email. The evaluation will also be made available via the ECE 2027 Congress platform. Your feedback is highly appreciated and helps us to improve future congresses.
Further details regarding the requirements for receiving a CME certificate, including attendance tracking, session evaluations and post-event surveys, will be communicated once the accreditation process has been completed.
Information regarding CME accreditation for ECE@HOME and ESE On Demand content will also be published once available.
For any questions regarding CME accreditation or certificates, please contact ece2027-congress@interplan.de.
Switzerland uses the Swiss franc (CHF) as its official currency. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted throughout Basel, and some businesses may also accept Euros; however, any change is generally given in Swiss Francs.
Please note that ECE 2027 will accept Euros (EUR) only as the official currency for payments made by BACS directly to the Congress.
ECE 2027 includes a commercial exhibition. Only registered delegates are allowed in the exhibition area.
The exhibition is an integral part of the Congress and can be directly accessed from a number of session rooms. All catering will be served within the exhibition area,. Be sure to visit the many companies participating at the Congress, as well as the Patient Experience Zone, the Because Hormones Matter booth and the ESE booth.
All Congress rules are applicable within the exhibition hall and on booths. Exhibiting companies are responsible for their exhibition space and therefore responsible for safety and cleanliness, while the general spaces will be overseen by members of the Congress team.
A First Aid room will be available at the venue. Please go to the Registration Desk or the ESE booth if you or someone you are with needs assistance.
Hot and cold drinks and lunches are included in the registration fee for a full Congress in-person ticket and will be served daily. The catering areas will be staffed to serve food and drink during breaks and lunch. Water is available throughout the Congress venue, and we encourage you to bring your reusable bottle.
The official language of ECE 2027 is English.

Ensuring the privacy and security of your personal data is paramount to ESE. In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we want to inform you about the badge scanning processes we have in place during the event. There are two primary purposes for badge scanning:
CME Certification Collection
To facilitate the issuance of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits and certificates, you will need to scan into the session room. This process is essential for tracking attendance and ensuring you receive credit for participating in educational activities. Your data will be used solely for the purpose of verifying attendance and issuing certificates. Please note that CME points are not offered at industry sponsored sessions.
Commercial Exhibition/Industry Sponsored Session Attendance
Exhibitors within the commercial exhibition hall and sponsors of satellite symposia, Mini-satellites sessions may request to scan your badge. In this case, by agreeing to have your badge scanned, you are agreeing to share your name, email address and country information directly with the sponsor/exhibitor. This information can be used by the sponsor/exhibitor to send further details or follow-up information after the Congress. Please note that scanning by company representatives or agencies is optional and subject to your consent.
For CME Certification Collection, scanning is mandatory to receive certification. By attending these sessions, your details will be collated for CME certification.
For industry sessions and commercial exhibition, badge scanning is entirely voluntary. You will be asked for your consent before your badge is scanned, ensuring you have control over the sharing of your contact information.
All data collected through badge scanning is processed in accordance with GDPR guidelines. We take your privacy seriously and implement stringent measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration.
We are committed to ensuring a seamless and secure experience for all attendees. If you have any questions or need further clarification on our badge scanning processes, please visit the Joint Congress event team at the organiser's office or email to ece2027-congress@interplan.de
