Abstracts and Posters

Late-Breaking Abstracts are now closed!

ECE 2022 provides an exciting opportunity for the international endocrine community to meet and discuss the latest advances in clinical, basic and translational research and practice.

Accepted abstracts will be presented as Posters, ePosters, Rapid or Oral Communications, and notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent to submitting authors in March 2022 (before the Early Bird Registration Deadline).

There are two options for registration at ECE 2022, allowing you to attend either virtually or in-person in Milan. If you know you are not able to attend in person we would suggest that you choose ‘ePoster’ as your preferred presentation type. Please see further details below.

If you are planning to attend in-person in Milan but you are unable to at the last minute, please contact the ECE Team at ece2022@endocrinology.org

All abstracts have now been published, and are available to read in Endocrine Abstracts – fully citable and open-access collection of the abstracts presented at ECE 2022.

Please ensure you read the Abstract Submission Guidelines and Abstract Submission FAQs.

Programme Book

At ESE we recognise the growing impact our activities and events have on the environment, therefore the printed programme book you will receive in Milan will be a lot smaller than previous years. We encourage you to view the abstract list electronically and make full use of ESE On Demand.

Presentation types at ECE 2022:

Oral Communications

Authors will be asked to present their research live on stage and delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions. Please note you will need to attend in-person in Milan to present in this way.

Rapid Communications

Authors will be asked to submit a pre-recorded presentation of their poster which will be shown in the session room in Milan and all presenters will be invited on stage for a joint live Q&A session. Please note you will need to attend in-person in Milan to present in this way.

Physical Poster

Successful authors will be asked to bring a physical poster to the Congress to display in the poster exhibition area in the MiCo centre in Milan. We also ask authors to upload an ePoster which will be added to the ECE 2022 virtual platform (ESE On Demand) for our ECE@Home audience to view. Please note you will need to attend in-person in Milan to present in this way.

Authors will be asked to upload an ePoster which will be displayed on ePoster stations in the poster exhibition area. ePosters will also be available to view online (on ESE On Demand) during and after the Congress.

If you have any queries, please contact the ECE 2022 Congress Team at ece2022@endocrinology.org.
