“This exciting session will cover the discovery science which identified the NK3R as the mediator of menopausal flushing.
This will be followed by a talk summarising the data from clinical trials in post-menopausal women, which have led to the first NK3R antagonist being now translated into a licensed new non-oestrogen based therapy for menopausal flushing – this will be practice changing for our patients who cannot take HRT for their menopausal flushing.”
