ESE’s offer of access to education for people in the endocrine community living in countries experiencing a crisis
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, ESE has been supporting the endocrine community there with free access to our online educational events. As part of this ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion, we are now pleased to extend our offer of free access to our online educational events, including ECE@Home to anyone from the endocrine community who is living in a country currently experiencing a crisis.
We recognise that crises – whether caused by conflict, natural disaster, economic instability or public health emergencies – can severely disrupt access to professional development and scientific exchange. By removing financial barriers, we aim to ensure that all endocrine professionals can continue to learn, connect, and contribute regardless of whether the country in which they live is in a crisis situation.
This initiative reflects ESE’s mission to unite and support the global endocrine community, and we hope it will provide meaningful support to colleagues facing exceptional challenges.
A list of eligible countries is maintained by the ESE Team and reviewed regularly based on guidance from international humanitarian and policy sources.
