Would you like to be involved with shaping the future of endocrinology? ESE has several Committee vacancies available, and we encourage all members to either apply for themselves or nominate a colleague to join a Committee.
Depending on the Committee, you may not need any specific experience but should be keen to take an active role in the important work that the Committee is involved with.
We are looking for members from all career levels, specialities and geographical locations; together we can develop knowledge and share expertise in endocrine science and medicine and help fulfil our vision to unite, support and represent the endocrine community!

The ESE Clinical Committee brings a clinical perspective to ESE’s work, supporting the development of endocrinology across Europe and addressing priorities in patient care, clinical guidance, research, education and professional collaboration.
We would like to encourage candidates from countries not already represented on the committee to promote balance and diversity within the committee in terms of area of interest, gender and geographical location.
There is one member position available and applicants must be a member of ESE.
The term of office is four years and will commence in May 2027 (at the time of the European Congress of Endocrinology).
Multiple nominations or applications for the same person for the same committee will not be accepted.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a detailed Conflict of Interest (COI) Declaration. Appointment to, or acceptance onto, an ESE committee, board or group will be subject to the satisfactory completion and review of the declaration.
The Committee links the Executive Committee, ESE Team and PCO, supporting congress planning and strategic decision-making. It evaluates candidate cities, advises on programme, industry and educational matters, and provides guidance to Local Organising Committees and future congress planning.
There are two member positions available and applicants must be a member of ESE.

The Education Committee develops and maintains a sustainable education strategy for ESE. The committee ensures that ESE remains relevant and attractive to all career stages of our membership and provides a range of educational activity.
Candidates should have a keen interest in topics of education and relevant experience in this area.
In order to promote balance and diversity within the committee in terms of area of interest, gender and geographical location, we would specifically welcome those applications from female members from Eastern Europe and those with an interest in obesity,

Endocrine Views (formerly ESE News) seeks to develop debate and highlight opinion in topical areas of endocrinology, drawing attention to rapidly developing aspects of our discipline. It caters to the needs of all who work within the field of endocrinology: research scientists, clinicians, nurses and others, at all career stages, whether based in Europe or further afield.
The Editorial Board is responsible for planning issues and generating ideas for content.
We would like encourage applications from specialist basic or translational endocrinologists and those with an interest in AI in endocrinology.
There is one member position available and applicants must be a member of ESE.

The EYES Committee promotes activities that engage early career investigators and senior members in open dialogue and collaborative initiatives. The committee’s aim is to increase ECI awareness of research trends and application of new technology and to increase engagement of clinical trainees and improve training in endocrinology across Europe.

The EUWIN group has been developed to provide support, guidance and advice and to improve opportunities for women in European endocrinology and within ESE.
EUWIN’s primary aim is to enhance networking and collaboration between women in European endocrinology, importantly including mentoring and support for the career advancement of young female trainees and investigators, and those returning to work following a career break.
There are two Deputy co-leads positions available for a term of two years. After this two year term the the deputies will transition to become the co-leads and two new deputies will be appointed.
The total term of office is four years and will commence in May 2027 (at the time of the European Congress of Endocrinology).

The Nominations Committee is responsible for the nomination and election processes for committee membership and for the ESE award procedures. The Nominations Committee also reviews nominations received for individual committee vacancies and provides any comment in regard to balancing the overall committee membership in terms of diversity to the individual committee chair for consideration.
The Nominations Committee has two positions available. The candidate should be a respected endocrinologist or scientist with a record of excellence and with a broad range of scientific activities in endocrinology. In addition, they should be experienced and have a good overview of ESE and its activities.
