ESE Awards

The ESE Awards celebrate those members who have excelled within their field, contributing to the advance of endocrine science. There are a total of nine Awards within this programme, and some of the winners of these Awards will present a lecture at our annual ECE Congress.

The ESE Honorary Membership and Special Recognition Awards recognise those who have provided an outstanding service to the European Society of Endocrinology or to endocrinology at large. Nominations for Honorary Membership and Special Recognition are received through and approved by the Executive Committee.

The Transatlantic Alliance Award is a joint initiative with the Endocrine Society and recognises an international leader who has made significant advancements in endocrinology research through work and collaboration in both the US and Europe.

We also have our European Endocrine Nurse Award, now in its second year, which recognises excellence in Endocrinology nursing practice, nursing research, nursing leadership, nurse training and patient engagement.

The 2025 Awards will be presented at the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE 2025 ‘Connecting Endocrinology Across the Life Course’ in the wonderful city of Copenhagen, Denmark and the winners will be announced later in the year.
